except it isn’t -

if they were for macOS -
Lit AF
You will need to have agreed to the XCode TOS to be able to install homebrew.
Installing Homebrew
For older MacBooks(2013)
Open Terminal and execute the following command
curl https://gist.githubusercontent.com/ryandalex1/0822d9e2c0b7bbeafbf9bead007e0791/raw/35d339b2ff40e245ad9e0abf0796d759aaa32703/install.rb >> install.rb && chmod +x install.rb && ./install.rb
For newer MacBooks(2020 Rollout)
Open Terminal and execute the following command
curl https://gist.githubusercontent.com/ryandalex1/0822d9e2c0b7bbeafbf9bead007e0791/raw/35d339b2ff40e245ad9e0abf0796d759aaa32703/install.rb >> install.rb && chmod +x install.rb && ./install.rb && echo 'export PATH="$HOME/usr/local/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc
Installing Homebrew Manually (2013 Macbooks)
Download the script
Set YOUR_HOME
in the script to YOUR_HOME = '$HOME'
Open Terminal and execute the following commands
mkdir -p $HOME/usr/local
echo 'export PATH=$HOME/usr/local/bin:$HOME:$PATH' >> ~/.bash_profile
source $HOME/.bash_profile
cd to the location of the script cd $HOME/Downloads
chmod +x install.rb
./install.rb
